"Waiting On God"

Waiting on God is a period that follows after a request about something has been made in prayer. When we pray we obviously expect an answer instantly irrespective of what we have asked God for. As human beings we always want an answer, it is our nature. Even a child when he or she asks for something from the parents, it is expected that they provide that which the child has asked for and in the event that they cannot give that child a positive feedback they have to give the child some assurances. We know that God is an ever loving God and he is our father; he is always ready to answer us each time we call to him, this he has promised in his word. (Mathew 7:7-11, John 14:14).   He has given us a platform to ask anything in his name and he will do it.   That’s a promise which he is always ready toto fulfill because he has exalted his word more that himself. What happens when I pray and I don’t get an answer instantly? As human beings we are conditioned to always expe...

Pay attention to dreams_ They do come true!!

Come tryeToday I had a crazy experience. So I had a dream very wired I can’t share . But it left me baffled the whole morning but I still went on with my day then just when I thought the day was going ok. The encounter happened! I was done with my errands and was thinking should I go home or go to unza and do some work? So I decided I will go to unza, Confucius institute library to he specific! I got there and unfortunately the library was closed. Because I     wanted a quiet time of reflection going to te offices was a non- starter so I decided to go to the GOMA lakes: an even great atmosphere perfect for some quiet time.   An hour into my quiet time I see two people walking towards me and when they reached near my where I sat on my lovely chitenge they introduced themselves saying: “my name is lisa (not her real name) and this is jack we are from church X(not the real name)  and we would like to talk to you about “Our mother in heaven” So because I...

The principle of giving and receiving: Does it really work?

To begin with, almost all principles within the confines of science are assumed to work if followed promptly. In fact, they produce the desired results when you operate within the parameters of that principle. So what is a principle? The Merriam Webster dictionary defines it as a comprehensive and fundamental law, doctrine, or assumption or simply a rule or code of conduct.  I will borrow the last definition a rule or code of conduct: so a Principle is a rule or code of conduct, it means it tells you what to do or how to behave. In my philosophy I learnt about morality and its aim being to prescribe the best conduct of human behaviour in order to live a happy life, I believe principles also act in the same way: They act as rules that guide our conduct and behaviour so that we can live a happy life. So how is the Principle of giving and receiving help us to live a happy and harmonious life? First and foremost, to all principles there is a reward we get if we follow them adequ...

HAVING FAITH THAT GOES BEYOND BORDERS

What is faith without borders? Is it possible to have faith that looks beyond all borders? What is a border? Define border: In the dictionary, A border is a line separating two countries or other areas, administrative divisions or other areas. or simply the edge along or besides something. What is that border you feel you can’t beyond. People have created borders in their lives; I can’t pass my exams, I can’t preach the Gospel, I can’t enjoy a good marriage. When you confess these things, you create a border that divides your life of failure, ordinary and that successful life God has planned for you and that border now becomes permanently created and ushered by your words and actions. What is faith It is the complete trust or confidence in something or someone. I have a confidence that an airplane can get be to the USA In time and safely. What makes you say this because you know its abilities? It has never disappointed you.  Faith comes from a root word PISTIS and ‘believe’ ...
