EVEN CHRISTIANS FALL!
This post is inspired by a song done by Jonathan Mcreynolds called "Limp" and in my interpretation Christians walk throughout their journey by limping as i will illustrate more in this post.
First of all i would like to under score this notion that Christians are pure and holy people, and that they don’t sin, or that they are these perfect beings who have perfect lives and everything about them is all rosy. Well you can say that it is true? But I want to bring your attention to this fact; Christians are not perfect, they live the same lives as you all do and they live in the same earth. What differentiates believers from non-believers is how they carry themselves or how they respond to challenges surrounding them. Remember we are living in the same earth that is Influenced and controlled by its’ ruler, the devil and as long as we live in this world for us to be above the devil we must not confirm to its standards even though we LIVE in it.

As Christians we know that to live in the flesh and it's works is sin and leads to death (Romans 6:23, Romans 8:6); Once you accept Christ Jesus as your lord and saviour, you put on the new you(the spirit man), your old dies at the cross and this new you (the spirit man) needs to be fed with spiritual things (the world of God) but remember you are still living in the world. And in as much as you will endeavour to be holy, sin will always be in this world we live in. The bible cautions us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12), meaning we must try by all means to avoid sin and things that lead us to sin.
Additionally, when trials and temptation come, they come to test your faith and in the end teach YOU patience and perseverance. So as a Christian, don’t feel BAD when you sin, I know working out your salvation everyday with fear and trembling might seem hard, it is very achievable and when you sin or stumble on this path don’t feel bad or guilty because the devil will capitalise on that and make you feel useless and unworthy of the noble calling of ‘believer hood’, instead pick yourself up, ask for forgiveness and limp back to the journey which you have been called.
Let’s not be cheated Christianity is not a straight path or perfect walk, you will be hit, insulted, shamed, hated, but in the end you are a champion, every journey, even the one to success is a lonely one but very rewarding. Success is sweet but it takes a lot of sweat. As a human being, with all the feelings and emotions, you need to thirsty after the spirit more so he can work on your fleshly desires that causes you to sin. There are Christians who have a bad attitude, or have bad hearts, or are just not so friendly, or they don’t like people, even their own family members complain. Yes! those are also Christians because they gave their lives to Christ; but yes their bad character can lead them to sin, that is why when you notice such a one, don’t condemn or judge them, instead pray for them so that God can change their character. Remember “ni lesa uwuchinga abantu “( it’s God who changes
In Christianity, we have One God, same bible and same Goal (to enter heaven and see God again) and we are one body and we must therefore be each other’s keepers not condemn each other, how can unbelievers want to join this us when we are not even united ourselves. C’mon let’s change and be better people.

This is very insightfull. Reminds us that we always have to work to perfect our faith.
