LIVING LIFE IN ITS FULLNESS THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT

Isaiah 55.8-11, Romans 8:11, 15-17

“My thoughts are not your thoughts, my ways are not your ways”, says the lord, “Just as the heaven are higher, so are my ways higher”, says the lord, Isaiah 55:8-11. 

In the old testament the scripture shows us the ways of God. God does not operate like man; he is not on the same of level of thinking as Man thinks. We know that God the creator of heaven and earth is a big God. Vs 10 says as the snow and the rain come down from heaven and does not return to me/ it (heaven) without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seeds for the sower and bread for eater”. Verse 11 says So is every word that goes out from my mouth, it will not return to me empty, but will achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

God has made US in his image and therefore carbon copies of who he is. When you come into Christ you become a new creation and you begin to learn more of kingdom life, and the more you  study and meditate on very word of God, you will understand that the word of God is for you own benefit. The spirit of God whom you have received will begin to reveal to you the mysteries of God and your thinking is therefore transformed.

Romans 8:11 If the spirit of God lives in you, he will quicken your mortal bodies. Embracing the spirit of God changes YOU from ordinary mere man and woman of great destiny. this further means that you now no longer do things the ordinary way because you have the spirit of God which has made you one with Christ. Romans 8:15 says he has given us not the spirit of fear but of adoption whereby we cry abba father you. Verse 17 says the spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. It’s the spirit of God who qualifies us to be believers. When you come into Christ through the spirit of God, you become sons of God, believers, joint heir with Christ Jesus. Therefore, what Christ did so can you do because now you don’t operate and think as ordinary men. 

What you speak in your life should yield results just as in Isaiah 55: 10-11, The power of the spirit living in you should produce results, when you speak a word concerning your life there must be impact. You must realise that your life is not ordinary you have been given power to live life in the fullness. Things should not be difficult for a Christian. Struggling should not be the order of the day. Every day our prayer is for us to think like Christ, to let the spirit of God guide us. Remember God is spirit and we have the spirit man in us, who should be alive within us by living in the spirit. The holy spirit connects us (our spirit man) to God. It’s the common element within us that testifies or signifies the presence of God in our lives. Having the spirit of God is having God living in us, so how then can you FAIL, STRUGGLE, FALL SICK, ACCEPT DEFEAT?? NO. You need to realise that you as a believer you need to be Different from non- believers.

YOUR daily prayer should be:

“Lord let your holy spirit lead me,
  Let me function like you,
 Teach me the ways of the spirit, open my spiritual eyes, 
 May I think like you think,
 May I see things how you see them,
 I do not belong to the kingdom of ordinary minds.
 Therefore,
 Help me to fully maximise the mind of Christ that you have   given me”

May you see opportunities where there are problems, may you not live life like ordinary thinker. Let GOD GUIDE you as you begin to see things in the spirit and move in the spirit. Every morning as you start your day tell the holy spirit to guide you. 

In Mathew 6:33, the bible says seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you. Means all things, all manner of success, wisdom to create wealth will be added to you, Decision making will be easy for you because the holy spirit is leading. We need to be spirit led. 

Living in the spirit opens you to a new perspective, your understanding of things is clear, where others complain, you will not complain, because you are the change maker. 

All those who seek God he gives them. The spirit of God is freely given to us to work for us. Therefore, ask for more of the spirit every day of your life and stop living like one who is not a son and daughter of God. Be a witness of God everywhere you go, let others see Jesus in you. Every place you are in, through the spirit living in you, let people benefit from your life as you do things differently, helping people around you. As a child of God you should be different, you have been made the head and not the tail so go ahead and live life in its fullness because you have the Spirit of God in YOU. Be the light everywhere you go, live that successful life that God designed for you so that others can see your good deeds and glorify God.  Matthew 5:13-16.

Live life in it's fullness through living in the spirit of God.
