EVEN CHRISTIANS FALL!

This post is inspired by a song done by Jonathan Mcreynolds called "Limp" and in my interpretation Christians walk throughout their journey by limping as i will illustrate more in this post.  First of all i would like to under score this notion that Christians are pure and holy people, and that they don’t sin, or that they are these perfect beings who have perfect lives and everything about them is all rosy. Well you can say that it is true? But I want to bring your attention to this fact;  Christians are not perfect, they live the same lives as you all do and they live in the same earth.  What differentiates believers from non-believers is how they carry themselves or how they respond to challenges surrounding them. Remember we are living in the same earth that is Influenced and controlled by its’ ruler, the devil and as long as we live in this world for us to be above the devil we must not confirm to its standards even though we LIVE in it.  As Christian...

TRUSTING GOD WHEN IT HURTS THE MOST

"Proverbs 3::5-6” I have sung this song for quite some time and even when I never understood it or ‘felt’ speak to me, I still sang it. This is a part from the song:    “  Trust and obey"   "For there is no other way to be happy in Jesus "    "But to trust and obey” So now we understand that without faith (trusting God) it is difficult to please God (hebrews 11:6), how or why? You see God is spirit and you cannot see him, therefore if you are following God then you are doing it ‘blindly’ or not being able to see him physically, or rather without exactly not knowing who you are following physically. for instance you can not say that you know the place where God works or lives because he is with us all the time. Many people have stopped serving God because they were not sure at some point who they were following anymore especially if he did not come through for them when they where in pain or grieving and the like. Some, When troubles came, they ...

"WINNING THE RACE_RUNNING WITHIN YOUR LANE"

Photo of  racers_picture gotten from Ooutsideonline.com Ecclesiastes 3:1. Ephesians 4:11-12, 2 Corinthians 12:14-20 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers for the perfecting of the saints. T he body of Christ has many parts but all sharing the same goal to perfect the body of Christ. This is also the same with our natural bodies and corporate bodies; the various arms/ departments all play different parts but are very important for the work and purpose which we have been born or called for.  What the hands can do the eyes can’t do, what the nose can do the heart can’t do, showing that we all have unique features and abilities which make us function within our jurisdiction. We are all created with a unique purpose and a mission on earth and when we perform that purpose, we are guaranteed better success. The joy and fulfilment of completing your race and winning is amazing. In Ecclesiastes 3:1, we are informed th...

ARE YOU TOTALLY READY FOR IT?

Mathew 7:11,  James 4:3 There are so many things we want in life and the real question we must be willing to answer is: Are you totally ready for it? Today, I interrogate the subject’ Readiness ‘especially for what we are seeking in life. We all want so many things in life and it is alright to want something.  But the question is ‘are you ready for that success you want? Are you ready for marriage? Are you ready for that new car, job, relationship, friend, etc.? Now we must understand that God has given us all things and he is still in the business of blessing you even today. There is nothing that you can ask that he cannot give you. I want to draw your attention to the issue of why we do not get what we want and when we want it sometimes. somethings that we are seeking for from God may seem to take too long to come and one wonders whether this God is still the one who gives what we ask for as he said in Mathew 7:7 “ Ask, and it shall be given to you: seek and you wil...

"MAKE ROOM FOR YOU"

Lyrics for the song by MAKE ROOM by Jonathan McReynolds I find space for what I treasure I make time for what I want I choose my priorities and Jesus you're my number one So I will make room for you I will prepare for two So you don't feel that you Can't live here, please live in me I find space for what I treasure I make time for what I want I choose my priorities and Jesus you're my number one Yes Jesus you're my number So I will make room for you I will prepare for two So you don't feel that you Can't live here, please live in me This songs makes me think about one interesting subject of FREE WILL . The singer talks about how he will create room for God to come in. Now I start my sharing by asking this question: What business does light have with darkness? Can God live in you if you keep entertaining sin? 2 Corinthians 6:14-16 says “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship h...

BE IT UNTO ME ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD

“So Mary said, "Yes, I am a servant of the Lord; let this happen to me according to your word." Then the angel departed from her.” (Luke 1:38,NET) So the past weeks have been very intriguing and I kept wondering to myself where God was taking me. It Is easy for one to tell another about the power of God, when they do not have an issue that they want God to intervene in. so I had a very urgent and pressing and I wanted God to answer me almost instantly. To me, I told God the kind of answer I wanted to my problem and this shaped the kind of expectations I hoped for.  "I want this solution to come like this and look like this. " But little did I know that this solution is not going to look like the way I wanted but it was definitely coming. So I had reserved some money to help me sort out the problem in case the solution didn’t come as I wanted. As a 21st century girl, I believe in planning; so I set targets and put plans that are supposed to help me attai...
