BE IT UNTO ME ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD

“So Mary said, "Yes, I am a servant of the Lord; let this happen to me according to your word." Then the angel departed from her.” (Luke 1:38,NET)

So the past weeks have been very intriguing and I kept wondering to myself where God was taking me. It Is easy for one to tell another about the power of God, when they do not have an issue that they want God to intervene in. so I had a very urgent and pressing and I wanted God to answer me almost instantly. To me, I told God the kind of answer I wanted to my problem and this shaped the kind of expectations I hoped for. 

"I want this solution to come like this and look like this. "

But little did I know that this solution is not going to look like the way I wanted but it was definitely coming. So I had reserved some money to help me sort out the problem in case the solution didn’t come as I wanted. As a 21st century girl, I believe in planning; so I set targets and put plans that are supposed to help me attain those targets. So I did it, one Sunday while a word came to me that I needed to sow a seed. So I kept thinking this is the middle of the month where will I get money to do So. Then I remembered I had money set aside for something 'the in case it doesn’t work out money', So I went back home and there was a war within me. Should I give or not? What if it doesn’t work out and I need the money? 

So I consulted my mentor and friend, my mother and she told me, if it is what the spirit of God tells you, do it. And I did it.  To cut the story short. The solution came and pre-empted so many other things.  Our bishop and father Bishop E N’gambi taught us that when you desperately need something from God, sow a seed and your harvest will come  in plenty. He always says for as long as we live on earth, the principle of SEED,TIME, HARVEST will always apply. Whatever a man sows, so he reaps. 

So the point I am trying to put across is:

Like Mary after hearing from the angel of the lord about how she will conceive without being married, in the midst of confusion, she said be 'it unto me according to your word'. When an instruction come through the holy spirit, you need to heed to it. It’s like trusting that God, he who holds your destiny, will do it for you. It’s like trusting God in the unknown. 

In Christian walk, we have been caution to live by faith, not by sight because of such times, where you will need to follow instructions that you don’t fully understand or don’t want to follow. Well, your answer to every instruction of God should be. “Be it unto me lord according to your word”. Don’t fight it, just accept that instruction remember in it there lies your blessings. Continue being pen to the Holy Spirit and all that he will drop in your spirit even be it a scripture. follow it promptly Whatever it is do it. There is no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey. continue specking the of God everyday and he will establish you forever.
