This songs makes me think about one interesting subject of FREE WILL. The singer talks about how he will create room for God to come in. Now I start my sharing by asking this question:

What business does light have with darkness?

Can God live in you if you keep entertaining sin?

2 Corinthians 6:14-16 says “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Now let me say this making room for God means you need to let go of some things including sinful acts and attitudes. Light is of God and every good deed is of God. The bible tells us that if any man be in Christ he is a new creation behold all things have passed away and behold the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). 

This means that  through salvation, our sins are washed away and we become clean and clear of all sins, then God comes and makes us his vessels; a passage that he can use to show forth his glory. It means you now have to forsake your old habits and begin to thirst and desire for righteousness and holiness. Additionally, you have to pursue good habits and all things that God had prescribed in the
Word of God. The Bible adds that in (1 Peter 2:2) As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

God cannot be in the life of someone who doesn’t want him to be there. You need to make room. As difficult as it maybe you need to put away all bad habits of sin and allow God to come into your life. And if you are willing he can help you change from your bad ways. 

We all have priorities and in this 21st century world where time is of essence, people only give attention to the things which are important to them. Now we only only call the few important people whom we feel are important, airtime in is expensive nowadays. We also only visit the people we feel are important because the world has become a busy place. So in the midst of all these “busyness”of the world, how much do you value God. How much time do you decide for him? What are you willing to give up for him? 

Your value to God is seen by how much time you spend in prayer, attending church and doing his work of evangelizing, that is, preaching the gospel to others. 

Have you made room for him to come into you life? 

Have you let Go of all the bad habits and attitudes that God doesn’t like? 

Are you living according to the word of God? 

In the Bible God has promised us so many wonderful things and  his promises are yes and amen( 2 Corinthians 1:20). Proverbs 30:5 says that every word of God is pure; he is a shield to them that trust him.  

It’s only when you value God and make room for him, that’s when he can be all that you want him to be. God has given us free will and you need to choose him first, before he can Come into your life and be God. 

Isaiah 1:18 says Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

verse 19 says If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

The scripture in Isaiah is very clear if you want to eat the best of the land; that is to be the best you can be, to succeed, to end that suffering, to end that sickness, to find a wife/ husband, to find that dream job, you need to allow God to help you. You need to desire God and want him, then he can come in your life.
