Now we understand that God, is God the father, the son, and the holy spirit. To know him and to be his follower one must live in the SPIRIT because God is actually spirit (Romans 8:9). When I become a believer I thought there were so many things I did not know and needed to know, so anxiety kicked in as to how I will manage to know them.  So each day I told myself to desire more of the holy spirit and to read more of the word of God. Because to me the word of God is the power of God brought to life which teaches all things about God and his promises. So to know God is to know what he says in his word and also to have the ability to understand his word through the help of the holy spirit. 
Three people can read a book and have different interpretations, this is the same with the bible, different people can read the and interpret it differently and it takes the help of the holy spirit for one to see and get the word of God for what he designed it for.  So each day we need to be continually desire that we be filled with the holy ghost in order to see things the way God sees them.
Why desire the holy spirit?

Because the holy spirit is the one who knows kingdom ways and he is here to teach us, Paul said in (1 Corinthians 13:11) "when I was a child I spoke as a child, I talked like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me". So as a sinner you speak and see things as a sinner and now when you come into the kingdom of God, we think like new babies and we need to then begin to grow in our Christian walk and that is where we need the holy spirit to help us. Your understanding of the bible is dependent on what you carry (carrying the holy spirit helps you see and understand things on the perspective of God. the holy spirit is sent from God to be our greatest advocate (a helper, comforter, friend) who is there to teach us so many things about God and how to live life as a believer.If you call yourself a believer, you must yearn for the holy spirit each day
What can the holy spirit teach you?
The holy spirit teaches us:
  1. How pray, 
  2. how to glorify,worship God,
  3. What things please God,
  4. How to give,
  5. How to love,
  6. All things.

Praying in the spirit is manifestation of the holy spirit dwelling in us. And praying in tongues edifies our bodies, it beautifies our body, makes us strong, we communicate to God and he in turn makes us know more of him.  You need the holy spirit to live as a Christian (Galatians 5:16-18). The holy spirit elevates your thinking and approach to life, where others see problems you see opportunity; with the help of the holy spirit and its gifting, he teaches us how to live in peace with others.

You need him to show you what to do.  It is that inner voice that will show you which way to take in the midst of troubles. The holy spirit is a gift from God and it is the one who differentiates us from others, how will they know that God lives in you if you cannot manifest God through the holy spirit. Make the spirit of God your companion and he will minister to you. He will teach you basically all things pertaining to life.
There are many special abilities that the holy spirit gives us, prophecy, speaking in tongues, undying love for others, just to mention a few and these abilities make us different from non-believers (1 Corinthians 14:4)  

How can the holy spirit come upon someone?

The holy spirit is free and can come upon anyone who desire for it. The bible says if you are willing and obedient you will eat the good of the land (Isaiah 1:19). I believe the gift of the holy spirit is the best thing that can ever happen to anyone  If you ask anything in my name I will do it. (John 14:14) so to receive the holy spirit all you need to do is ASK in his name and believe that you have received and you will receive.

Pay attention to dreams_ They do come true!!

 Come tryeToday I had a crazy experience. So I had a dream very wired I can’t share . But it left me baffled the whole morning but I still went on with my day then just when I thought the day was going ok. The encounter happened! I was done with my errands and was thinking should I go home or go to unza and do some work? So I decided I will go to unza, Confucius institute library to he specific! I got there and unfortunately the library was closed.
